PlayhouseSquare Kennedy’s Theater

Located beneath the lobby of the Ohio Theatre, the intimate Kennedy’s Theater (with a maximum capacity of 100) is unique to the PlayhouseSquare family of venues. The space still sports its original 1921 exposed-brick walls and features collectible Broadway poster décor. It opened as a performance space November 15, 1975 and now plays host to a variety of one-man shows, plays and other cabaret entertainment.

PlayhouseSquare 14th Street Theatre

Like its next-door neighbor, the Hanna Theatre, the 14th Street Theatre accommodates more intimate, experiential theater, seating up to 288. Originally built in 2002 as the home for comedy improvisation group Second City Cleveland, it now operates under the auspices of PlayhouseSquare presenting improvisational comedy, musical comedy and avant-garde fare, often for extended runs.
